Having missed out on vital education, training and job opportunities, millions of young people are at risk of being left behind. They are already more than 4.5 times more likely to face unemployment than the rest of the working age population and youth joblessness is predicted to reach record highs in the coming months.听For those who were already vulnerable - facing mental health issues, challenges at home, or even homelessness - they see no way out.

听Research by The Prince鈥檚 Trust shows that 44% of 16 to 25-year olds say their aspirations for the future are now lower as a result of the pandemic. It also shows how 41% of young people believe their future goals now seem 鈥渋mpossible to achieve鈥�, with this rising to half (50%) of those surveyed from poorer backgrounds.

听Emc易倍体育 has supported The Prince鈥檚 Trust throughout the whole year and will donate additional digital advertising space nationwide in December and January to help raise awareness of the help available to young people via The Trust. Additionally, Emc易倍体育鈥檚 staff will be raising funds for the charity in December and pursuing volunteering opportunities in 2021.

The Prince鈥檚 Trust will continue to be there for them throughout this period, but we can鈥檛 do it without the support of partners like yourselves. Emc易倍体育 has supported The Prince鈥檚 Trust since 2004 and became a Silver Patron in 2012. The Prince鈥檚 Trust supports 11 to听30 year-olds听who are unemployed or struggling at school, helping to bridge the gap from education into working life and get young lives on track. Many of the young people helped by The Trust are in or leaving care, facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues, or they have been in trouble with the law.

The Prince鈥檚 Trust has helped one million young people since HRH The Prince of Wales started the charity in 1976. Three in four young people on Prince鈥檚 Trust programmes move into work, education, or training.
